This method unlocks almost any locked Sony devices. No service in the weekend. Please don't submit Sony Xperia from T-Mobile such as Z4 as they are locked by an APP not a code so no refund. Also SPRINT is not supported. 

Please make sure your phone is not hardlocked (0 attempts to enter code). Try different carrier sim card, and make sure your phone prompt you to enter network code as shown below:

How to check Unlock Counter

Switch on your phone without SIM card Compose *#*#7378423#*#*

Select Service Info and then Simlock If X is with Network and it is not 0 you can unlock your phone via code 

If X is 0 your counter is locked and unlocking via code is not possible.

The following image shows that this phone is good to be unlocked. It has 10 attempts remaining to enter the code, and requires only network code.
